Summary of 2009 Summer Tour and Field Day
Nearly 250 Ohio fruit and vegetable growers and marketers participated in the June OPGMA Summer Tour & Field Day at Bachman's Sunny Hill Fruit Farm and Schacht Family Farm.
Speakers along the tour stops discussed equipment, food safety, disease management, insect management, tree thinning, marketing techniques, plasticulture strawberries, sweet corn production, pick-your-own activities, and various summer crops.
